Portugal’s Venice?

A couple of weeks ago I decided to go to Aveiro for the day with some friends. One of my friends from Salvador (Brazil) moved there when I moved back to Norway in 2013 and he was happy to show us around! The weather was so great and after exploring the beautiful city, we went to the beach to have lunch and relax. Here are some pictures:

The picture above shows the famous azulejos from Portugal. You can find them almost everywhere here, especially on houses and churches. The typical azulejo is blue, but you can also see them in other colors, like yellow and green.

As you can see in the first photos, Aveiro has a canal with gondolas just like in Venice and it’s really beautiful!
